Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne,
Geezer Butler, Corey Taylor, David Draiman and a plethora of heavy
metal luminaries met at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday, May
12th to publicize a melding of mega metal festivals...OZZFEST
OZZFEST MEETS KNOTFEST is scheduled for September 24th (Ozzfest)
and September 25th (Knotfest) at the San Manuel Amphitheater in
San Bernardino. The same location in Devore where Ozzfest made its
first California appearance back in October of 1996! (Sharon
created the metal festival after failing to land a spot for Ozzy
on the Lollapalooza tour.) This year, the two-day camping event
will feature over forty acts (across multiple stages), carnival
thrill rides, a monster truck arena, massive fire displays, food
trucks, craft beer and much more.
Saturday's Ozzfest will also mark the last So. Cal appearance
of Black Sabbath before they pack up their metalhead rattling amps
for good. The Ozzfest lineup also includes Disturbed, Megadeath,
Opeth and Black Label Society, to name a few. The Knotfest lineup
on Sunday features Knotfest founders Slipknot, in addition to
Slayer, Amon Amarth, Anthrax and Trivium.

Whoever said that money can't buy happiness was mistaken!
